The Dress - Kwietna.pl

Znalazłam idealną sukienkę! Wieczorową (chociaż pewnie nie raz założę ją do trampek), czarną, koronkową, prześliczną! Jest delikatna, ale wyrazista. Oprócz samej sukienki zachwycił mnie też sposób, w jaki ją kupiłam. Jakiś czas temu koleżanka powiedziała mi o sklepie online, będącym w rzeczywistości lumpeksem, jednak z odzieżą starannie wyselekcjonowaną, o często unikatowych krojach. Mowa o Kwietna.pl.

I found a perfect dress! An evening one (though I sense I’m gonna wear it a lot with the trainers), lace, gorgeous! It’s delicate and very distinctive at the same time. Besides the dress itself, I also love the way I began its owner. Some time ago a friend of mine recommended me an online second-hand store where the clothes are shipshape selected and you can often find some unique models. The store I mean is Kwietna.pl.

Since that time I have visited the site regularly, however, I wasn’t sure enough if I wanted to purchase any item or not; I couldn’t try it on, check its condition or even touch and feel if I liked the material. And then this beauty stepped on my way.

How many times have you read that this season navy blue, orange or burgundy is the new black? What is it with black that it seems the biggest honour for other colors to be compared with it? Let me tell you something; black is black. Even though my absolutly favourite colour is the darkest of blues, black has this mysterious X ingredient that no other shade would ever have. Don't look for substitutes when the perfection already exists :) 

Ile razy czytaliście coś w tym stylu: "w tym sezonie granatowy, pomarańczowy czy bordowy (niepotrzebne skreślić) jest nowym czarnym"? Jak to się stało, że największym "pochlebstwem" dla koloru okazuje się być porównanie go do innej barwy, co do której nie ustalono nawet czy rzeczywiście można uznać ją za kolor czy nie. Możnaby teraz pociągnąć dywagację w różne kierunki, jednak zamiast tego pozwólcie mi napisać jedno: czarny to czarny. Mimo tego, że moim ulubionym kolorem jest najgłębszy z granatowych, to nie przeszłoby mi przez gardło zaprzeczenie, że czarny nie ma tego tajemniczego składnika X, którego nie znajdziemy w żadnym innym odcieniu. Przestańmy szukać substytutów, kiedy perfekcja już istnieje :)

Take all your favourite pieces

As I wrote earlier, today at last comes an outfit post. When packing up for our trip (first way I had a carry-on only) I regarded one thing - we planned lot of walking, so there's no way to take any uncomfortable garments. In my case, the coziest ones quickly become favourite ones, so my packing list included beloved clothes only - black coat I adore, boots that never give me any blisters, one dress, a bag that's not too small for anything, plus something 'unobvious'. Recently, all kinds of the hats are my little obsession (my absolute favourite is beige beanie with a black veil), so black turban I bought online was the 'unobvious'. Add my best winter purchase - purple 'little mole' (look at its texture and you'll understand the nickname) - and it's done.

And this is how I hadn't even once thought that something feels inconvenient to me while wandering the streets of London. Compose all your favourite pieces - it's unfailing, I guarantee!

Jak zapowiedziałam, teraz, dla odmiany, pora na post z outfitem.  Pakując się (w pierwszą stronę jedynie w bagaż podręczny) miałam na uwadze jedną rzecz - zaplanowałyśmy sporo chodzenia po mieście, więc najważniejsze były wygodne rzeczy. W moim przypadku często te najwygodniejsze szybko stają się ulubionymi, więc koniec końców moja torba była wypełnionymi niezbędnikami, które noszę z przyjemnością - ulubiony płaszcz, najwygodniejsze, płaskie buty, które nigdy nie były przyczyną choćby jednego pęcherza, jedna sukienka, pojemna torba, plus coś 'nieoczywistego'. Biorąc pod uwagę, że ostatnio uwielbiam wszelkie nakrycia głowy (zdecydowanie moim ulubionym jest beżowe beanie z czarną woalką), tutaj nieoczywistym był turban. Plus mój ulubiony zimowy nabytek - fioletowy 'krecik' (zwróćcie uwagę na jego fakturę i zrozumiecie skąd ta nazwa). 

Tak właśnie biegając od jednego go drugiego muzeum ani razu nie pomyślałam, że cokolwiek w stroju sprawia mi dyskomfort - zestaw z samych ulubionych rzeczy jest niezawodny, gwarantuję!
