The Dress - Kwietna.pl

Znalazłam idealną sukienkę! Wieczorową (chociaż pewnie nie raz założę ją do trampek), czarną, koronkową, prześliczną! Jest delikatna, ale wyrazista. Oprócz samej sukienki zachwycił mnie też sposób, w jaki ją kupiłam. Jakiś czas temu koleżanka powiedziała mi o sklepie online, będącym w rzeczywistości lumpeksem, jednak z odzieżą starannie wyselekcjonowaną, o często unikatowych krojach. Mowa o Kwietna.pl.

I found a perfect dress! An evening one (though I sense I’m gonna wear it a lot with the trainers), lace, gorgeous! It’s delicate and very distinctive at the same time. Besides the dress itself, I also love the way I began its owner. Some time ago a friend of mine recommended me an online second-hand store where the clothes are shipshape selected and you can often find some unique models. The store I mean is Kwietna.pl.

Since that time I have visited the site regularly, however, I wasn’t sure enough if I wanted to purchase any item or not; I couldn’t try it on, check its condition or even touch and feel if I liked the material. And then this beauty stepped on my way.

That has never happened on this blog before thought this time I just couldn't resist. I never used to post any singular piece of clothing but this one is just perfect, so I had to share it with you. Do you know that feeling when you fell in love with something immediately? That happens to me all the time. It happens when it comes to songs, interiors, clothes, food, pictures, etc. My latest obsession is this gown. The most incredible and perfect gown from Valentino f/w ready-to-wear collection. The fabric, applications, cut... Oh, I've seen tens of pretty or even gorgeous dresses and gowns but this one is definitely the most beautiful one. This is the dreamy one... Say you love it as much as I do. 

Tego na blogu jeszcze nie było, ale tym razem po prostu nie mogłam odmówić sobie tej przyjemności. To prawda, jeszcze nie pojawił się post o konkretnej sukience czy innej części garderoby, ta jednak jest idealna i musiałam podzielić się z Wami jej zdjęciami. Znacie to uczucie kiedy zakochujecie się w czymś w mgnieniu oka? Mnie zdarza się to bez przerwy. Mam tak z piosenkami, ubraniami, wnętrzami, jedzeniem, zdjęciami, obrazami, itp. Moją ostatnią małą obsesją jest właśnie ta sukienka. Najbardziej niesamowita, wręcz idealna suknia z kolekcji ready-to-wear Valentino jesień/zima 2014. Materiał  z jakiego jest wykonana, fason, aplikacje... Dziesiątki ładnych, a nawet pięknych sukienek jakie do tej pory widziałam bledną przy tej. Ta jest po prostu niesamowita... Kto się zgadza ręka w górę!

Season finale

Song for today 

Two weeks ago I didn't have a slightest problem to wander the yacht harbour wearing a light dress and sandals. These days I can only manage wearing flip flops when going to my backyard and I don't even find it pleasant. I wish I could say the summer season is reaching its end but the truth is it's been over for a while. I face that fact right now, packing up all the sweaters I have before my deporture for university tomorrow. Season is over, let's start the new one! And I'm leaving you with the pics taken when I thought September was such a warm month!

Dwa tygodnie temu nie miałam jeszcze problemu z wychodzeniem w sukience i sandałach. Dzisiaj zdobywam się co najwyżej na powędrowanie w japonkach do ogródka i z powrotem, a i tak średnio to przyjemne. Chciałabym powiedzieć, że sezon letni powoli się kończy, ale bolesna prawda jest taka, że jest on już dawno za nami. Uświadamia mi to fakt, że piszę tego posta w przerwie w pakowaniu walizek przed powrotem na uczelnię, do których głównie wrzucam swetry i długie spodnie. Finał sezonu już za nami, zaczynamy nowy (a w międzyczasie zostawiam Was ze zdjęciami z wtedy jeszcze gorącego września)!

After the movie

Unfortunately,  I don't have plenty of occassions of walking in Gdańsk by night recently - I left the city for the summer. These are the pictures taken in June when Oskar and I were just after seeing the Maleficent movie coming back to the apartment. Finding these on my disc was a great reminder of the warm air hitting my face gently with every step I took. I believe this introductions has made you realize how much I adore city by night in the summer. The streets are not as crowdy as during the day but still filled with people laughing a lot and having fun. The air is still warm but definitely more 'human friendly' than at noon and the lights of every colour appear - all the neons and street lamps and shining ads or sometimes the art instalations make me feel like I was in some amusement park. I love the time I'm having right now, though, in the bottom of my heart I'm looking forward to come back - the city by night is calling me!

Niestety ostatnimi czasy nie mam zbyt wielu okazji na nocne spacery po Gdańsku - na lato opuściłam miasto. Zdjęcia z tego posta  były zrobione w czerwcu, kiedy Oskar i ja wracaliśmy z kina, zaraz po obejrzeniu "Czarownicy". Znalezienie ich na dysku doskonale przypomniało mi to fantastyczne uczucie, kiedy przyjemnie ciepłe powietrze uderza w twarz z każdym postawionym krokiem dając jednocześnie orzeźwienie. Podejrzewam, że tym krótkim wstępem dałam Wam do zrozumienia jak bardzo uwielbiam miasto nocą w ciągu lata. Ulice wtedy nie są tak zatłoczone jak w ciągu dnia, ale ciągle pełne śmiejących się i bawiących przehodniów. Powietrze po zmierzchu jest znacznie bardziej znośne dla przeciętnego człowieka niż, dajmy na to, w południe i co najważniejsze, wszędzie pojawiają się kolorowe światełka - neony, lampy na ullicach, podświetlane reklamy, czasem instalacje artystyczne. Wszystko to sprawia, że czuję się wtedy jak w parku rozrywki. Uwielbiam sposób, w jaki spędzam czas teraz, ale czuję, że niedługo będzie trzeba obrać kierunek na Gdańsk lub podobne miejsce. Miasto nocą wzywa!

Put on some color!

Every year late April and May are the time when the wedding season starts. This time I had to wait for June to attend one. It was perfect timing for me cause when I started to look for a right dress the stores were filled with the dresses of every type and every color. Obviously, after three hours of selecting the clothes and several break downs I bought the first dress I saw that day. It turns out the first choice often happens to be the best one - I had felt incredibly comfortable wearing that dress for the entire night. What do you hink of that combination of green and pink I chose?

Sezon na śluby, co do zasady, zaczyna się na przełomie kwietnia i maja. Ja tym razem musiałam poczekać do czerwca, żeby znaleźć się na jednym. Dla mnie idealnie, bo w czasie kiedy szukałam odpowiedniej kreacji sklepy były już przepełnione sukienkami w każdym możliwym kolorze i o każdym kroju. Oczywiście, po trzech godzinach ostrej selekcji i kilkukrotnym załamaniu kupiłam dokładnie pierwszą sukienkę jaką zobaczyłam tego dnia. Jak się okazuje pierwszy wybór jest zawsze najlepszy - w tej sukience czułam się świetnie przez cały wieczór. Co myślicie o połączeniu zieleni i różu, na które postawiłam?

How was your Easter?

I hope your Easter holidays were as pleasant as mine and maybe a bit slower than mine. Of course I'm gonna complain I ate too much and that I had been the laziest person in the world for two days (oh yes, after holidays grumbling!). Today, I'm posting some photos taken on Sunday at my house by my sister (this is her a few pics below). How do you like my blue dress I wore  that day?

Mam nadzieję, że święta minęły Wam równie przyjemnie i trochę wolniej niż mi. Oczywiście, że powiem jak bardzo się przejadłam i jakim strasznym leniem byłam przez te dwa dni (o tak, poświąteczne narzekanie!). Dziś wstawiam kilka zdjęć zrobionych w niedzielę u mnie w domu przez moją siostrę (to ona, kilka zdjęć niżej). Jak się Wam podoba moja granatowa sukienka?
