Streets of London - Day 2

Good afternoon! I hope you all are having time as good as I'm having in this moment. There's no better thing that coming back home when being aware that what awaits you is a chores-free afternoon and there's no need to prepare anything for the next day.
I've told you we've taken hundreds of pictures in London and I've already managed to select and get them ready to be posted. I decided to publish something every two days so here's next article.
We started our second they in England with a visit at the Natural History Museum. We had that funny resolution to leave and start exploring the city every day around 9 am - our earliest time of leaving was a bit after 11 am I suppose. When we reached South Kensington and found Cromwell Road what waited for us was a kilometer long (I don't think I'm significantly exaggerating) queue in front of the entrance - it was Saturday, plus Valentine's Day. Luckily, half an hour later we entered 'the world of natural treasures'. I have to admit that places gives an amazing impression - the rich ceiling, stained glass-works around and giant dinosaur skeleton in the hall was just a beginning. Every room we entered was a huge surprise and a massive shot of knowledge. It was a marvelous visit, although, I found my real heaven on earth in the next building we explored - the Victoria & Albert Museum, especially their Fashion Institute. I think a kid in a toy shop wouldn't get as excited as I did when admiring all those gowns but there will be an entire post about it very soon.
Our next destination was the Hyde Park which is, surprisingly, a symbol of London for my sister. I had been impressed by the London's architecture even sooner but when strolling toward the park every street was a real treat for my eyes.
Our last stop that day was Tower Bridge (or London Bridge; when in London I had heard different voices. First, I was instructed to always say Tower Bridge, then another person told me 'everyone says London Bridge'). Once again, I was confronted with all the values of exploring the city in the evening or late afternoon. And what I mean are all those lights! ;)

PS. More of the pics of outfit I wore that days soon!

Gmach muzeum robi naprawdę ogromne wrażenie - zdobiony sufit, witraże wokół i ogromny szkielet w holu to dopiero początek.

PS. Więcej zdjęć stroju z tego dnia w kolejnym poście.
