Even though the Christmas is over, my holidays are still lasting. I'm the lucky one and I'm not coming back to the uni before January 7th. In this case, I don't think I'm gonna turn off the lazy and never-stoping-eating mode I started on the Christmas Eve any soon. This article is the first symptom of my activity since the holidays began. I cannot deny this state is extremely conveniant and plesant to me, although, I started worrying the more I get into it, the more painful the end of it will be. However, I gotta start coming back to the reality step by step (yeah, these are gonna be very little steps).
Those Christmas days were such a great time for me, full of peace, quiet and relax (the 24 hours lasting electricity breakdown was the only obstacle on my way to complete euphoria - I wouldn't complain if only it wasn't getting dark at 3 pm). I got that huge shot of energy and exactly as much chores-free time as I needed. I don't want to say I filled that Christmas time with sweet inactivity only (and I really need to shut that quiet but explicit voice in my head saying I simply wasted days and days of time), so I decided to show you some of the pics I took during the holidays. So far, I selected them into two groups - the "there's no way I can use it" group and "accepted cause I can't find anything better" group. I hope the next selection will be more effective and soon I will succeed on showing you the results of running around with a camera for a few days.
The pics I used for this post were taken couple of weeks ago, when the streets were not completely white and menacingly slippery and snow on Christmas was just a wishful thinking. I can say I experienced that amazing feeling of dreming of something on the evening and in the morning realizing it has just become reality. This is exactly how it was with the snow on the Christmas Day and me this year - the best surprise I could ever dream of. Returning to the outfit, I don't think I would dare to take off the coat outside even for a minute these days. When it's -11 degrees it's unacceptable for me to take off even only the gloves. However, this oversize T-shirt has started to become one of my favorite garments of all and of course I brought it home with me for holidays :)

Mimo że Święta już minęły, moja przerwa jeszcze trwa. Mam to szczęście, że na uczelnię wracam dopiero na początku stycznia, więc nie zanosi się, żebym w najbliższym czasie wyłączyła tryb lenistwa i obżarstwa. Ten post jest pierwszym przejawem aktywności z mojej strony od kilku dobrych dni. Muszę przyznać, że taki stan jest niezwykle przyjemny, jednak zaczęły dopadać mnie obawy, że im bardziej się w niego wprowadzam, tym boleśniejszy będzie jego koniec. Chcąc nie chcąc, małymi kroczkami muszę wracać do rzeczywistości.
Te kilka świątecznych dni upłynęło mi w fantastycznej, spokojnej atosferze i jedynie awaria prądu na 24 godziny stanęła na drodze do pełnej euforii (gdyby jeszcze nie robiło się ciemno o 15.00). Dostałam tak bardzo mi potrzebny zastrzyk energii i dokładnie tyle wolnego od obowiązków czasu, ile potrzebowałam. Żeby nie musieć stwierdzić, że moje Święta wypełniłam jedynie słodką bezczynnością (i może troszeczkę zagłuszyć ten cichy, acz nieustępliwy głosik mówiący, że to po prostu marnowanie czasu) już niedługo pokażę Wam część zdjęć, jakie zrobiłam w ciągu ostatnich dni. Pierwsza selekcja pozwoliła na wyróżnienie grupy "zupełnie się nie nadającej" i "od biedy akceptowalnej". Myślę, że kolejna będzie bardziej owocna i już niedługo będę mogła pokazać Wam efekty notorycznego biegania z aparatem.
Zdjęcia do dzisiejszego posta były zrobione przed około dwoma tygodniami, kiedy ulice nie były jeszcze kompletnie białe i przerażająco śliskie, a o śniegu w grudniu jedynie nieśmiało marzyłam. Mogę śmiało powiedzieć, że doświadczyłam tego niesamowitego uczucia, kiedy wieczorem o czymś myślisz, a następnego dnia rano zdajesz sobie sprawę, że myśl stała się rzeczywistością. Dokładnie tak było ze śniegiem w Święta w moim przypadku - największa niespodzianka jaką mogłam sobie wyobrazić. Wracając do stroju, nie sądzę, żebym dziś odwarzyła się zdjąć płaszcz choć na chwilę - przy -11 stopniach ledwo mogę wyobrazić sobie zdjęcie rękawiczek chociaż na moment - jednak oversizowy Tshirt przyjechał ze mną do domu i powoli staje się jedną z moich ulubionych części garderoby na codzień.
