Magoku i Coolawoola często pojawiają się na
blogu i wiem, że zagoszczą tu jeszcze nie raz. Kiedy znajdzie się coś pięknego,
unikatowego, stworzonego z największą dbałością, pasją i oddaniem trzeba się
tego trzymać, a przedmioty wykonane przez dziewczyny właśnie takie są. Pisałam
o tym już kilkakrotnie (posty z biżuterią Magoku i ubraniami Coolawoola
znajdziecie tutaj, tutaj i tutaj). Teraz dziewczyny poszły krok dalej i
wymyśliły coś naprawdę niesamowitego – Otwartą Pracownię.
Magda i Lena postanowiły pokazać trochę więcej
swojego świata, zdradzić kilka sekretów magokowych i coolawoolowych procesów
twórczych, odsłonić sposób w jaki pracują, jak się inspirują i jak tworzą.
Wymyśliły wydarzenie, podczas którego swobodnie dzielą się swoją twórczością,
pomysłami, ciepłem i energią, w miejscu, gdzie na co dzień dzieje się magia.
Obie działają zgodnie z filozofią slow
fashion, wiedzą na jakim efekcie pracy zależy im najbardziej, emanują
kreatywnością i zarażają podejściem.
Magoku and Coolawoola happen to appear quite often on
the blog and I know it’s not gonna change any soon. When you finally find
something beautiful, unique and created with an ultimate care, passion and
dedication, you need to stick to it. And this is exactly what the girls’ pieces
are. I already told you that a bunch of times (you can find these posts here, here and here). This time, the girls had a great thought and created
something special; an event called Open Workshop.
Magda and Lena made a resolution to show their receivers
a piece of their world, tell them a few secrets of the designing process and
show how they work, inspire themselves and create. They came up with idea of an
event where they would be able to freely share their designs, conceptions,
energy and warmth in the place where the magic happens every day. They both are
the supporters of the slow fashion philosophy, they know what is the effect they
aim to achieve at the end of their work, they emanate with creativity and
infect others with their attitudes.
Ja spędziłam z nimi sobotnie popołudnie kilka
tygodnie temu, kiedy Otwarta Pracownia odbywała się po raz pierwszy. Przy
filiżance kawy przymierzałam Coolawoole i dobierałam zawieszki do kolejnej
magokowej bransoletki. Dziewczyny bardzo dbały o samopoczucie swoich gości, a
całemu wydarzeniu nadały atmosferę weekendowego spotkania ze znajomymi.
Stworzyły też okazję do wymieniania się pomysłami, kontaktami czy inspirowania
się nawzajem, a wszystko to w unikatowym, ciepłym klimacie, bo nie sposób nie
czuć się dobrze w towarzystwie dwóch tak inspirujących kobiet.
W najbliższą sobotę, 3 grudnia, Otwarta
Pracownia obędzie się ponownie. Pora na edycję świąteczną. Po raz kolejny
będzie można przyjrzeć się z bliska ubraniom Leny i biżuterii Magdy (a także
temu, co dziewczyny stworzyły współpracując), spokojnie wejść w świąteczny
klimat i zrelaksować przy herbacie i pierniku, w otoczeniu pięknych
przedmiotów. Sobota będzie też fantastyczną okazją do znalezienia przepięknych
prezentów lub zaopatrzenia się w bony na biżuterię, dodatki czy warsztaty. Tym
razem dołączy też Zosia z bloga mamadokwadratu.pl, a
dziewczyny wspólnie z gośćmi ustalą listę warsztatów, na które będzie można się
zapisać (pierwsze już 11 grudnia). Ja w weekend sama zrobię sobie
prezent i pojadę do Oliwy. Też chodźcie.

I spent a Saturday afternoon with them a couple of
weeks ago, during the first edition of the Open Workshop. When having a cup of
coffee, I was trying on various Coolawoola sweaters and choosing the pieces for
my next ceramic Magoku bracelet. The girls cared so much for the comfort of
their guests and made the whole event look and feel like a weekend hang out
with your friends. They created a perfect occasion for exchanging ideas,
contacts and inspiring each other. It all felt so right with its unique and
warm atmosphere; there was no way to not feel good when accompanied by two so
amazing and inspiring women.
On Saturday, December 3rd, the Open Workshop will
happen again. It’s time for the Christmas edition! You will have a chance to
take a closer look at Lena’s clothes and Magda’s jewelry (or the products they
made in cooperation), start this holiday season with a clear and relaxed mind
and have a slow time with a cup of tea and piece of gingerbread when surrounded
by the masses of beautiful items. It is also a perfect occasion to get an extraordinary
present or a gift card for a piece of jewelry, accessory or the workshops. This
time, Magoku and Coolawoola will be accompanied by Zosia from mamadokwadratu.pl blog and the girls with their
guests will plan a list of workshops for upcoming weeks. I’m gonna
give a present to myself and go the that spot on Saturday. You too come!
